The Magnificant Seven

Or, as Google translator tells me "The Brave Seven" Perhaps one of our German Colleagues can help?

This is another Christmas present bought at Atelier in Hamburg. It is has simple system. There is a seven crank shaft and each of the long rods have a "saddle" attached that runs over the cranks. This gives a neat, semi-elliptical motion. It also means that there is almost no friction which also makes it quite grandchildren proof!

The model is eleven inches long and the horsemen are two inches tall. It's easy to put together, although there are eleven parts for each horsemen.

The not so good news is that, as far as I know, the kit is only available in Atelier's shop - no internet and no credit cards acceptable - unless you visit the shop - sorry.

Cheers

Mike
