This is a request for help to find the research,
rather than an actual "design" request.
I hope thats okay here?
I am starting a new project once I find the necessary research material.
Basically I need to learn more about the Commer Car RC 4 Ton Truck
(I think the 3 Ton RC is pretty much the same)
Weight designation is usually load capacity affected by the rear springs and axle.
Anyway, my project is a large scale World War 1 Horse Ambulance.
And I have chosen specifically the Commer Car Ambulance.
Built by Osborn & Co. of London, there were only four of these side loading Horse Ambulances.
I like the simplicity of the Box...the handpainted lettering on the sides...
and the solid wheels.
I also think the Commer Car is kind of cool looking.
This is a 3 Ton RC with a Bus Body.

I've already collected a number of photos and some drawings,
but I am looking for something better.
Plans or actual diagrams of the chassis would be good.
As would actual photos of parts...maybe from a restoration?
I don't need pics of the Horse Ambulance thanks.
And no, I am not interested in the RSPCA Ambulance or the Thorneycroft Swiveling Box Horse Ambulance.
rather than an actual "design" request.
