Modelart’s Aero L-29 Delfin

Here is an airplane that has been sitting on my harddrive too long. Dr Zarkov’s designs are always crisp and interesting. But they don’t build very easily. Lots of small parts and sometimes ambiguous instructions. It took a good solid week of work to finish up this model. I was flying with a Bulgarian pilot last week so I took the plunge and made this Delfin model. It was a bit of a rush job so it has a few cosmetic flaws. The canopy was cut from a pre-made salad container so it is a bit thick.

This model came from a CD I had bought from the good doctor a long time ago. I don’t have a current site where you can purchase it. Perhaps Audrey Zarkov will be kind enough to provide one on this thread.
