Limburg Cathedral 1/200 (2.0)[Schreiber-Bogen,P. Gierhardt 2018)

... nice to see you again,

... one of this years novelties published as »Schreiber-Bogen« is the cathedral of Limburg ... The city of Limburg is located 70 miles (approx.) north-west of Frankfurt, very close to river »Lahn«.

[quote from wikipedia:
Limburg Cathedral, also known as St. George's Cathedral after St. Georg's patron saint, is the cathedral church of the diocese of Limburg and towers above the old town of Limburg an der Lahn next to the Limburg Castle. The high location on the limestone cliffs above the Lahn ensures that the cathedral is visible from afar. The building is considered today as one of the most complete creations of late Romanesque architecture. However, there are already elements of Early Gothic. This architecture is called Rhenish transitional style. The Limburg Cathedral represents this after Wilhelm Luebke "most brilliant"]

See the attached picture - it shows a completed test-assemby.
