I had a search around the forum, but although there were quite a few mentions and links to Jan Rukr's models of Icarus, no one seems to have actually made them.
... So here I go... First up is the crash scene from Planet of the Apes.
You may note from the ruler that I have used my usual trick of 1/4 sizing by printing four pages on one A4 sheet.
This does increase the build difficulty somewhat, but as you can see, even with my damaged fingers, it IS possible.
Start to finish around three hours. Tweezers and magnifying head set much in use.
Next up will be Jan's interpretation (Guess) at what the complete shuttle would look like.
Followed by his imagined launch booster vehicle. Again, both reduced to 1/4 size.
Sorry Spaceagent9, but I liked Jan's version more than yours, even if yours is based on the recovered shuttle from a later film.;);)
