Fw190 a-8

Dear PMs

Sorry for the absence, its been too long I know.
Anyway, Jim Nunn has inspired me to make another Instrument Panel (yes the 1:1 scale MC202 Panel has been on hold whilst I've been working on this project).
The idea behind this panel is that between me and Jim we would produce something that could be made my other modelers instead of just a full scale one off which I usually produce.

Having deliberated over which panel to design, I decided on something which had plenty of information on the net.

The panel in question is that of a FW190 A-8. Which looks something like the one below (slightly different Mk shown below but you'll get the idea):

Anyway, I've made this prototype which needs a few tweaks here and there and some more detail putting in certain areas (handles need making, light switches need changing or adding, throttle to be made, pipework etc).

Here's a few pics of the prototype so far, its a rough cut but the next build will be very neat!:

Out of interest is anyone interested in such a paper model?
If theres enough interest Ill crack on with Jim Nunn and produce it as a deliverable (printable model). Likewise when Ive completed the panel with all the fine detail ill complete this thread with a full build?

Oh yes, almost forgot! This model is not full size, its a 1/4 model.
Its made from Paper, Card and clear Plastic and all stuck together with pritstick.

Let me know what you think, is there anything more I can add/change etc.

regards from myself and Jim Nunn
