A large Spitfire model, a gift from a friend!

Wyvern sent this model to me some time ago and only now do I have the nerve to cut into it! It is an Alfakits model of a Battle of Britain Spitfire. I do not know the scale yet, but it is huge! The tires are an inch across!Looks like six large pages (10 by 14 inches) of high quality card stock. The detail and printing are all quite nice as well. Although detailed and lots of parts, I think all of the parts are mostly simple enough and large enough I can handle it. This is my first commercial pre-printed kit ever... I have two more stashed but they are both extremely complicated...
