Another trip to Pima

I got to go down to Pima Air & Space Museum again yesterday.

Attachment 300938What a lot of people don't know is there are actually 2 PBM Mariners in this shot. The whole one, then just behind the red and white checkerboard display is the wrecked tail of a second one.

Attachment 300940Columbia XJL-1. It only bears a superficial resemblance to the Grumman Duck. But close enough that when I do the Duck, this one will be done as well (separate model though)
