Klm dc-10

Here is my beta build of a DC-10 in KLM livery, in 1/144th scale. The model is a recolor by a new outfit going by the name MB Industries, a collaboration between two guys who have contributed much to the hobby, John Bowden and Gary MacPherson. They plan to put out some vector recolors of older OddBall Production designs. If this model is any indication, they'll do a bang-up job.

I've always liked the look of the DC-10. The model captures the distinctive shape and the KLM livery makes it colorful. Good engineering resulted in no major construction problems and things lined up where they were supposed to.

The model comes with landing gear, but I built an "in flight" version because to me, that is how airliners look best.

(I tried to edit the post to capitalize the "KLM DC-10" in the thread title, but it won't let me edit the title, for some reason....)
