Epson Workforce WF-2660

I've been squirelling away a few dollars here and there hoping to purchase myself a new printer next month for my birthday but sometimes events come into play that make things happen sooner than you think. So with one day remaining on a sale I found yesterday I journeyed to Staples where I found the above mentioned printer for $99.00(regular $149.00) .

I purchased the printer, a set of extended capacity cartridges($50.00) and a ream each of 110lb cardstock and 67lb cover stock.

After installation I proceeded to put it through the paces. With print settings at standard quality paper set to Premium Presentation Matte Paper and 110lb cardstock loaded I started to churn out the Barnacle Press pieces I recently colored and uploaded.

I must say I am impressed so far. The print quality is indistinguishable from a professional print job and the 'starter' ink cartridges let me print 25 pages before the black petered out.

(I don't think my phone camera will do justice to the print quality so lets say I have zero buyers remorse so far.)

Having now loaded the high capacity ink cartridges I'll print out some "complex" things and see how long they last but so far I am satisfied.
