Murph's Models - Dassault Mirage F-1A, SAAF, 1/39

Just bought the Mirage bundle and side tracked to build one while in the process

of beta building the Saunders-Roe Princess. Kind of took a break and thought that

the Mirage was a very simple task. It turned out that it took me 4 days to complete it.

I reduced the scale by 70% so the model I'm showing is about 1/56.

Half of the time was spent on the weapons and the undercarriage. I have

enhanced the model by changing the look of the canopy, scratch build the air brakes

accentuated the lines on the nose cone and added wheel well patterns for the

taxi mode. Sorry if I have jumped the gun if Niki is beta building it, but it was

so enticing and as you know once you have started, you just can't stop.

Well, back to the Princess, to your arms I'm returning.
