I put together a wooden box with 3 florescent lamps.
on top of this box is a sheet of glass. in order to not see the lamps I mounted Velum paper underneath, I did this because I didn't have any frosted glass.
I turn on the lamps and place my printed papers with the prints facing the lamps, then I can use a ball point ink pen to make my scores. The pen ink lets me know if the score marks are done on all the pieces.
this process works well with 110 pound paper also.
I been doing it with the lamp box for the last 10 years.
and it gives me wonderful mountain folds, if I am doing valley folds I just press a little harder.
