A few months ago I ordered a few kits from Paper Models in Ukraine. Mr Orel replied saying that he was expecting a new kit. I asked him to postpone the order so the new kit could be sent with my original order.
Almost as soon as the kit arrived I started making it. From the start I had problems - some were so basic, it seemed as if no one had made the model - including the designer. For this reason, I didn't start a thread (I wasn't sure it would be completed) I also emailed papermodels. Mr Orel did reply, but I sent a few more emails but go no reply. I started checking their website to see if the model had been added. After a few checks and no kit I checked again and this time got a response saying the site didn't exist.
Does anyone have any info on this?
So, the kit doesn't appear to have been advertised - does this mean that my kit is the only one arround? If so perhaps I shouldn't have made it.
Sorry for the long introduction. After a great deal of trial and frustration, the model was finished and I was surprised how good it looked considering all the problems. See the extra bit in the second photo
The castle, as you will have guessed, is in the Ukraine and is one of the best known historical sites. The scale is 1:150 and is about three feet long (90cm approx).
Cheers
Mike
