Nissan Pivo

I saw this a while back, and was wondering how it would come together with all the compound curves. Most of the Nissan Event models are pretty plain easy to build and are kid models. This one looked intriguing, and after the trains and a few Disney princesses that I owed a few folks, it just seemed like time.

If you aren't familiar with the car, here she is:

No, this is not a horribly serious model, but it takes a bit of finesse to get it to work. The bubble went together okay, as did the chassis, but as happens a lot, then comes the mystery step.

After much head scratching and looking at the template over and over, I decided which end of the chassis was the front and wrestled it together.

Didn't rescale it, but it doesn't look bad. You can find it at web.archive.org/web/20061105201535/http://www.nissan.co.jp/EVENT/PAPERCRAFT/ . Nissan changed their site. Up until a few years back, they had all their cars archived on the site, using the drop-down list above the pictures
