Hello again fellow paper modeler!
After finishing my Spitfire Va i decided to try something different than usual military-themed models, that is, civilian airliner
Among the current stream of modern jetliner builds such as Triple 7 and A330/340, my choice fell to a rather overlooked jetliner of the 1950's, Boeing 367-80, or simply known as the 'Dash 80'. Although only one example ever produced by Boeing, it held a pivotal role in development of modern jetliner, being the direct predecessor of 707 family and often said as the ancestor of modern jetliners
Though i'm not really fond of civilian jetliner, i had a soft spot for the 707 family, they have a kind of 'military look' on them, maybe because they are more successful in military service than in civilian service, having more military variant than civilian ones (Ranging from transport C-135 to airborne command post EC-135C and VC-137 air force one) and still widely used long after their civilian counterparts are retired
The model are repainted version of Bob Bendorf's 707-321 with a little modification to resemble the Dash 80
