Experimental air-powered cannon

I built this as an experiment to see if I could make a functional air-powered cannon.

Attachment 205270

The breech can be slid open for a shell to be inserted. The mount can slide to simulate recoil.

Attachment 205271

The casing on the left is for display, and the one on the right is functional. A portion of it is cut away to allow air to flow in and propel the shot.

Attachment 205272

There is a hole on the bottom of the barrel right in front of the breech for an air source

Does anyone know if this is close enough to the right size for any model, preferrably open-topped? I can rescale the model if the proportions are right but the size is wrong.

Barrel ID: 0.19"

Barrel OD (end): 0.23"

Barrel ID (breech): 0.27"

Length (incl. breech): 4.88"

Length (to front of mount): 3.25"

Shell length (overall): 1"

Casing length: 0.66"

Shot length: 0.57"
