Google Nexus 5 Release Date with Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie To Launch In Octo

Lately after Google revealed Android 4.3, speculations related to the release of Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie release date has been least talked about, but new rumor is pointing towards the next Nexus handset unveiling. Couple of reliable tech blogs says Google may launch Nexus 5 this October. If this is to be believed, then the Android 5.0 operating system too may be announced around the same time. Well, there are five reasons to believe this.

First, in the US, Google Nexus 4 price has been cut down by $100. The price drop is also being seen in UK, Korea, Germany, Spain and Australia too after the launch of Moto X. Also, it is learned the Web giant is in good mood to reveal the next Nexus handset.

Second, the search giant was found teasing the new Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie in May. Tekrieg.com writes, “We saw a top hat wearing Android robot who was eating Key Lime Pie. So this tells us that Key Lime Pie could be here soon.”

Also, the Nexus 4 was launched last year in October. So, probably the next Nexus may be launched this year in October.

Before the recent launching of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS it was expected Google may announce Key Lime Pie. Well, it was not done then so it is expected to be unveiled later this year.

Above all these, Android was found in October 2003 and this is the 5th anniversary of it. So, probably we will witness the launching of Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie this October.

The first device to run on an Android platform was HTC Dream. It was launched in 2008.
