Zarkov Beechcraft C 12 Tzufit.

My son is a pilot and one of his favorite aircraft is the Beechcraft King Air. It was his birthday today so 3 weeks ago I decided to build him a model of the King Air and from my search on the net the most detailed model I could find was of Zarkov's !/32 scale King Air's. The one I chose was the Isreali Air Forces C-12. Incidentally, Tzufit translates to Hummingbird. The model has full interior which consists of four computer workstations to cover various surveillance and spy missions and full cockpit with Flight yokes and throttle quadrant. The model went together well but is defiantly not for the beginner although someone with a few models under there belt would have few problems. The main issue I had was of little guidance per the instructions. Also the model shows a side looking Infra Red pod which is shown in the exploded views but wasn't on any of the pdf's. The wings and tail group have a built up structure with the skins wrapped around them which gives a very scale shape.
The fuselage has former's at every join to maintain accurate shape. I never had any problems with fit at all. The real aircraft has the propeller spinners painted in the same color gray as the fuselage but the spinners in this kit where uncolored so I painted them to suit (although I couldn't match the printed color perfectly). A very impressive scale like model. When I gave it to my son he thought at first sight it was a plastic model!
Thanks for looking. Daryl
