I've been making a few steam driven vehicles recently and some very small buildings. I decided to join the two and made some very small trains.
These are the Micromodels trio. I decided that the original card was too thick so I printed the parts on 120 paper. Fun isn't a word I would use to describe the build. As any micromodeller will know, the instructions are not the best and while it was easy to find reference pictures for two of the trains, there are almost none of the Puffing Billy, so I'm still not sure if the loco is facing the right way.
To give you an idea of the size - the base is 11x10cm.
Despite the frustration, I'm sure this won't be my last micromodel. I have plenty more - mostly bought at the price show on the packing - the "old money" when 12 pence were a shilling and 20 shillings were a pound!
Cheers
Mike
