The Pirate Cove Diorama,
Printed on Hammermill Cover Stock Ivory 8.5 X 11
67lb Bristol Cover.
House parts pages printed twice for extra wood planking , outside and inside window frames.
Treated with rattle can Krylon Clear Acrylic Gloss prior to cutting out parts.
Rather than a flat front, the doorway is pushed back inside to add more interest.
and cross bracing glued from second sheet with added backing.
Frames, door Z braces, added backing using scrap strips from parts pages.
Window frames: second window frame cut out and clear plastic sandwiched in-between.
Same technique used on the lamp.
SIGN: leftover planking added to back of sign and lettering darkened with red enamel paint.
BOAT: straight forward build using the same 67lb Ivory cover stock.
Water surface downloaded from Internet , photoshop darkened, printed on same ivory cover stock and glued to 8 X 15 inch cardboard base.
