Belgian liner MS Charlesville.

I was asked to build the MS Charlesville. She was a combi-liner (or as the French call it a Paquebot) for the Compagnie Maritime Belge. Launched in 1950 at Cockerill, Hoboken, Belgium and sailed between Antwerp and the Belgian Congo untill finally sold in 1967. For the complete history I refer to SSMaritime.com.

The paper model is issued by Kartonmodell and I think she is worth every penny. I did make a few alterations. The life boats are now 3 dimensional; the colours of the masts etc. have been changed and i used HMV railings. Judge for yourself. I myself like the result.
