I begin to work on HMS Speedy - English cutter launched on 28th of June, 1828 in Pembroke Dockyard.
Everything is made in "traditional way", so I'm not going to write too much.
First stages:
Then I started with planks. I fit and glue them from the stern because it's easier to cut and shape narrow front parts than wide ones at the back.
When I got to the edge of the deck I had to glue the last plank without any "support" just the edge to the edge. It was not impossible or difficult...
... but I started to look for some other solutions. I broke off parts and glue "longer" parts protruding above the deck:
Both methods have its advantages and disadvantages, but finally there is no difference. Problems with laser printing are visible on some pictures as white spots of crumbling toner. Pictures of today stage:
