Help!...a tank

Some friends visited Poland lately and they brought me a paper kit by GPM of which they hoped to bring me in utmost confusion, being a ship modeler all my life. The combination of railroad and armory should do the trick!
(They probably were unaware of the fact that I built several paper kits of tanks and military vehicles and even a steam train with passenger cars, all of Polish origin. This is the one I got:

Usually I spend as much time studying the pages of a kit as I do on the actual build and as always I was very interested how the makers had planned to connect the parts of the tracks to make them into a working one. The generous donators were even kind enough to provide me with a laser cut track sheet. This is the regular page for the tracks:

The explanatory sketch was not particularly helpful:

Here is another tiny sketch they provided me with:

The Polish text, which indicated little more than that one was supposed to combine the parts 25a-f to a track (according to Google translate) wasn't too helpful either:

I decided to try my hand on some test parts, but whatever I do, I do not seem to able to connect the track parts without glueing them together, which I can hardly believe a fine company like GPM would have meant.

Is there anybody out there who made the same kit and solved the problem, or who is brilliant enough to explain to me what I apparently overlook?
