Ok, so this is an official Texas Tailwheel / Ryan Short competition starting soon. I've run a few in the past... such as this one: http://ift.tt/29e9JxK
Theme: 1919-1973 Civilian Aviation and surroundings
Two categories:
Simple: 1/64 or smaller scale (ie. 1/100 would be in this category): Subcategories: Pre-WWII, Post WWII
Complex: 1/63 or larger scale (ie. 1/24 would also be in this category): Subcategories: Pre-WWII, Post WWII
Rules:
1. Pick any subject with a civilian aircraft or airport in a period, vintage picture - this could include a building, car, hangar, aircraft, tug, or anything that is in the photo - and you have to link the photo with your design.
2. If the category is simple, no interior needed, if complex, some more details, preferably some sort of engine / interior detail will be required.
Prizes: To be announced (donations welcome!)
Judging: TBA
For sure a people's choice poll.
Duration / finish date: TBA
I may need a couple of volunteers to help with the contest.
I'll wrap up the contest details when I get back from the weekend!
If there's enough interest, it's on!
