If someone with the skills and/or the time to design such a model. I've always liked this class of ship and would like to add one to the collection. Preferably smaller scale say 1:500 - 1:900. I don;t have the skills needed for such a task. Thank you.

Murph's Model - Textron AirLand Scorpion, 1/46
Here's Aaron's latest model, the Textron AirLand Scorpion, originally, 1/46, but now reduced to 70%, i.e. 1/65, to fit on 4x6" photoprints. The model now showing measures slightly over 8" and the original length should be somewhere over 11". Some slight adjustments are on the last pic and Aaron will surely fix them before releasing the kit.

Captured P-51, Zio Prudenzio, 1/144
Todays TBT model is the P-51B, in a Luftwaffe captured scheme.
The original kit is from Zio, and the build dates from July of 2004.
We had been in Germany for about 8 months at this point in time.
This model existed on my sons shelf until a couple of years ago,
when he decided to see if it would fly!

Competition ideas...
Looking for ideas for a designer competition - probably for a model aircraft.
What kind of prize would make you want to participate?
What kind of guidelines would make it fair?

67 camero by wongday
Thought I would try wongday's 67 camero. It is only two pages. I needed a break from doing MK II vipers recolors. I started with the base, and wheels, which is the second page. The instructions are a White PDO.
Firefly - Alliance AFV (Modified Alvis FV 622)
So, I just got back from being overseas, and I figured it's time for a new model! This time around it's a modified Stalwart FV 622 seen in the Firefly pilot for a whopping five seconds!
While the model is that of the vehicle seen in the pilot, I've made a few modifications. An unmarked AFV is, well, kinda boring and slightly unrealistic, so I added some markings here and there: namely, a unit number, lo-viz Alliance ensigns, and markings denoting the vehicle's belonging to the Alliance Marine Corps and based out of the I.A.V. Dortmunder.
Anywhosies, have some pics:

Snap-fit DC-3
A friend who flies polar support for the New York Air Guard operated in northern Canada alongside some of the aircraft of Buffalo Airways, and sent me a snap-together desktop display model of one of Buffalo's aircraft, an ex-military C-47, as a Christmas present.
It's a simple 14-piece model of strong plastic- fuselage, tail feathers, wings, engines, props and hubs, main landing gear, and tailwheel. All parts snap into molded slots. A stand is also provided.
Here she is:

another 17th century Dutch workhorse
After the disappointment I experienced with my 160 feet VOC vessel (see http://ift.tt/298vstI), I decided to finish a small ship, called a `smalschip`in Dutch. It was a freighter, used to load and unload bigger ships on the Roadstead of the isles of Texel and Terschelling to transport their cargo to and from Amsterdam. Big ships could only reach Amsterdam after a sometimes several weeks lasting journey across the shallows of the Zuiderzee (an inlet of the North Sea, today closed off by a dyke and called IJsselmeer). This fact was a source of income for a large numbers of `smalschip` skippers.
The source was another drawing by Nicolaes Witsen (1641-1717), the writing lord-mayor of Amsterdam and some paintings, amongst others the one by Lieve Verschuier I used for my fluit reconstruction.
Attachment 287879 Attachment 287878
The build of the model started as a test, to see wether the technique I tested for bigger ships (`borrowed` from our East-European friends) was also applicable for smaller models. It worked.
Attachment 287882 Attachment 287883
Building was straight forward, but as I am an absent-minded man I forgot to spray the white plastic strips I use for planking with a primer, which caused the paint to wear off a little during handling the model.
Attachment 287871 Attachment 287870 Attachment 287872 Attachment 287875 Attachment 287874 Attachment 287873
The model is not flawless anyway, but I like the atmosphere it shows. These vessels were no pleasure yachts. They were workhorses, built as cheap as possible, sailed by two or three men, mistreated, battered and bruised. And still they showed some modest decorations at the stern.
I promise I will show better pictures once my son has some spare time left.
Attachment 287877 Attachment 287876 Attachment 287869 Attachment 287880 Attachment 287881
One day I will build a `wijdschip` (literally a wide ship), which had almost the same dimensions, but was just so much wider that it could not make the inland north-south passage through Holland, because of the lock at the city of Gouda. Therefore it had to take the route `outside the dunes`, which caused it to carry another rig.
Perhaps more of that another time.

Sample Plans of Ships from Poland
Modelarstwo_Okretow is a Polish magazine devoted to ship modelling.
http://ift.tt/29mR3Lz
They have posted samples of the ship plans they have published in past years
http://ift.tt/1wGd1vf
Some of the small sailing ship model plans seem like they would be the basis of a nice looking card model.

Farm Equipment Builds
I just completed a new 1/64 scale farm tractor. It is a model of a 1970 International Harvester 1466. I design my own models and would love some input from the awesome builders I see here.
I am also looking for others who are building farm equipment out there.
