Hi folks,
I've been a modeler all my life - mostly Revell-type kits and balsa/tissue aircraft. Graduated to foam and fiberglass more recently with radio control. I never realized what could be accomplished with paper!! I am really excited to begin exploring this new avenue.
My interests lie in aviation and space travel, mostly with historic (real) craft. I found a build thread here for an Apollo-era crawler that really has me interested, but for now will need to stick to those models I can get for free or really inexpensive.
I have 2 questions - 1. How long does it take to get good at papermodeling; i.e., knowing what tool works best here & there, or how to form something so it doesn't just look like a spit wad ... 2. Is there a way to download a thread so that you can read it offline (including photos)?
Thanks, and I look forward to talking with you all. :)
