Well, having not modelled for over a year, and with the Christmas break now nearly over (have spent that time doing stuff around the house and worrying about other things) I decided it was NOW time for a model.
Got all my tools out, and decided on Joahn Scherft's Hummingbird.

Take time out to look at his other excellent models if you have not seen them before.
His model comes with two versions of the Hummingbird - one life size and the other a much larger "practice" version. A thoughtful idea to include the latter!
I decded however to just bite the bullet, and go for the full size (smaller) one! Time will tell whether this was wise or not after the long modeling break!
