Hi-and a quick question

Hello all, I am a musician most of the time and therefore don't get to spend a lot of time working on models like I used to. However, since my car isn't falling apart and I don't need to drop big money on the suspension just yet(cars and music, the worst hobbies you could possibly have), and since I have a few weeks off coming up, I want to try to get back into it-with a twist.

I built plastic models for years and years, but I see a lot of things about paper that I always wanted to try. I have built a few of the more difficult plastic models, including some weird ones, and some scratchbuilding before I stopped.

I tried a 1/70 something paper XB-70 years ago, and almost finished it, before the dogs destroyed it. I liked the experience though. I have always loved the lockheed constellation and the way it looks, and I have a quick question.

I found a Schreiber 1/50 L-1049 that I'd love to try(no stranger to huge models, built the 1/72 B-36, the 1/48 B-29, and the 1/48 B-1 is on the chopping block in a few months), would this be good to start my foray into paper? Like I've said, I've dealt with poor fitting models before and I can fix problems with the kit or other things like landing gear etc. Asking because I can't find anything anywhere about this 32 inch beast.

glad to be here,

Josh
