Hi all,
Yesterday, I just could not help myself - after seeing David's photos on eBay of one of his latest paper creations, the Apollo 11 LEM in detailed 1:32 scale,
I succumbed to the urge of having this beautiful model, complete with a full interior. So, I ordered it. (Apparently, forty-four of them has been sold already).
I look forward very much to see if this model kit can perhaps replace an upscaled U-DON 1:48 LM model (in about 1:32 scale!) that I started building a couple of years ago. To complement it, I will probably need an array of various thin yellow, orange, copper-red, lıght greenish metal, and matte black metal foils, to give it the proper Eagle look. In fact, I aready have a matte black 'CineFoil' (used in cinematography to block out unwanted stray light), so that might do the trick for these areas.
David has a few kits left (three), if you are interested (at an 'introductory' price): Apollo 11 Lunar Module LM 5 1 32 Model Craft Kit for Revell Command Service CSM | eBay
All the best from Stockholm,
Bengt
