The BA-10, built from 1938 to 1941 was the most produced Soviet heavy armored cars of the war years with over 3,300 built. Obsolete before the war even started, it nevertheless played an important role just by its sheer numbers. Captured examples were used by the Finns, and later by Germany and other axis powers. A 45mm gun in a rotating turret served as its main armament. Tracks, stowed in boxes on top of the rear fenders, cold be strapped to the rear tandem road wheels to help navigate in snow or soft ground.
Robototehnik's 1/50 version is pretty impressive looking with its photorealistic texturing. So far, I've glued only the first 2 parts together, and the results are encouraging.
Even the undercarriage is textured.
More to come.
