Search question. Or why only 500 results?

So I'm trying to find the google map thread to see who may be in my area and I can't go back far enough in the search function to find it.



If I do a search, I'm limited to 500 results. If I look at all my posts under statistics, I'm limited to 500.



Don't remember this issue before. Could someone enlighten me on what has happened or what I need to do to work around this issue?
