Need a bit of advice.
I had trouble registering on a model website and eventually contacted their office who created an account username & password form me and passed the username & password they created to me. (I had tried repeatedly myself but nothing ever came through to any of 3 email addresses I offered)
Upon 1st logging onto the system I was required to list contact details on the account and an address.
It took 3 months for my 1st order and in that time I relocated 300 miles away and when I logged on I 1st attempted to update my address but could not find a place to do so. There was no profile tab visible. I processed my order and was manually sent an invoice which I processed on PayPal.
On the "Ship To" option on PayPal and in the "Message to Merchant" option I listed my new address.
Naturally the item went to my old address and is now being held at the Post Office for collection. I have no one in the area that can get it for me (They need my ID etc) and Royal Mail cannot re-direct it to me. They said it will be returned to sender if not collected in two weeks ( that's next Saturday)
I asked the merchant why it was not sent to the new address as listed on PayPal and was told they shipped to my account address. Since I cannot do a 600 mile round trip and I do not feel it an insane idea to send me the order again to the correct address and wait for Royal Mail to return the 1st one. That request was not even replied to and I have had nothing else since.
How does Paypal view an item not being sent to the destination on its invoice in a dispute?
