Scaldis publishers newest issue contains two vessels. Flottieljeleider (Flotilla Leader, a political designation to avoid the word cruiser, otherwise there might have been no permit to build two ships of a new reconnaissance cruiser class) Harer Majesteits Tromp and submarine O 21.
Tromp had six 6 inch guns in pairs behind shields, these were not turrets.

Although regular buyers got used to have kits by Scaldis containing a transparent sheet with railings, this kit is not provided with such a sheet.
Nevertheless, also this kit will give a lot of fun to build.
First, a general impression, followed by the sketches, a presentation of the lasercut parts (can be purchased as an extra, not necessary to build the model), pics of already build models by Mr Jan Risseeuw from the Netherlands.
Although the model is designed by JSC, a conventional frame has to be build, stiffened by (grey) cardboard.
