As announced, my next project is Japanese submarine Soryu class, scale 1/400.

The model (and the submarine itself), compared to the others is huge - single Letter sheet is completly filled with parts. That is why, this time I decided not to torture my printer. I'm going to paint the model with satin black paint (Pactra acryllic), and then add some dry brush weathering.
The construction is similar to the real one. Cylindrical pressure hull:
Midship section. This long element (~11cm) is very difficult to form, and obtaining the desired shape is crucial for the rest of the build:
