Hey guys! Sorry for the REALLY long hiatus. It's been a long and tough journey already at the academy, but things are actually going really well! I've joined the academy's elite honor guard and drill team, and we recently took 2nd place at Cornell's Invitational Drill Competition (take that, West Point!).
Anyways, with the drill season over, I finally have some time between classwork and training, and am glad to be back to producing 'public' models, and I figured it's only fitting that I make a maritime-related model (granted, U-Boats are the Merchant Marine's arch nemesis to say the least...)
So without further ado, I present the SM U-14 (ex French 'Curie), the U-boat of Georg Ludwig von Trapp, best known as Fraulein Maria's love interest in 'The Sound of Music'.
