Hello everyone, this is my first post, so I hope it's in the right section of the forum?
It's my third completed paper ship model:
HMCS Corvette K-165 "Battleford", Royal Canadian Navy, 1941.
HMV kit plus laser-cut details.
Scale 1:250
Built as per instructions apart from acetate glazing, mast ladders (from an HMV ladder set) and rigging from sprue/elastic. Also added some navigation lamps and the shells/cradles around the main gun, since these weren't included in the kit. I modified the minesweeping dolphin noses to be rounded rather than pointed. I tried to use strips of card instead of the suggested wire wherever possible.
The hull sides required shortening to match the sub-structure, apart from that a very nice kit.
Thanks for looking!
