Although it had an Italian made chassis the Isotta-Fraschini armoured car was built in Britain. It was paid for by contributions from the officers of the Westmorland & Cumberland Yeomanry - a territorial cavalry unit. As far as known this armoured car never left the UK but was used for training throughout the war.
