So I purchased Kooklik's u-boat from ecardmodels.
And then I used a laser cutter to cut out the hull formers, I have now triple-checked, and made sure my formers are correct, but the skins are just a hair too small for the formers. i.e, they don't come all the way up to the deckline or they are just a fraction too short to go between the vertical formers.
I read several threads where people have said the skins don't exactly fit. so my question is simple, do I shrink the formers or do I enlarge the skins. either is easy enough. but I want to make the correct change.
Can someone who made the model tell me the exact length of the completed model bow to stern. If so I can measure the formers and see if my formers are too big or my skins are too small.
Thanks
