Paper category at IPMS shows

I was recently contacted by a regional IPMS representative regarding the level of interest paper modelers might have in attending IPMS shows if there was a separate category for card models. IPMS National shows have had paper categories for some time now, but the smaller local and regional shows have been paper free for the most part. A couple of upcoming events of particular interest are a May 20ish 2018 show in Bethpage, LI, and a mid-April 2019 show in Latham, NY (near Albany). Paper models on display at IPMS shows would be a good way to expose more people to our hobby.
