ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam Papercraft

My first Gundam papercraft. ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny-series. I've always wanted to build a gundam papercraft but I've thought that my skill level isn't quite up there. This year I grapped the bull by the horns and started to build one. It was a fun build but a lot of time went to it as well. I made sort of custom wings for this from another model. I saw a gunpla model which had these wings which gave me an idea to do same kind of wings for this. It turned up quite good and it is something to look at.

Here is a video of this one: https://youtu.be/WaY1q9lsxII

Fokker E.II - 1/33 - GPM

After a long period in “off” mode (no, the office holidays were not so good…) I’m back to “business as usual” here in the forum. The idea was to show a Me-262 built some time ago but that one will come later. So, it will be a Fokker E-II, from GPM, assembled during the holidays.
It was a quick build, despite the surprisingly high number of parts (621) for such a simple and not so detailed plane. The number reflects the designer’s choices which, in some cases, could be vastly simplified. However, the solutions are not awkward and the kit is very well organized, with nice instruction drawings. So much that, for a change, I decided to follow the proposed assembly sequence almost entirely.
The first pictures, as always, show the kit. As the wing structure card parts are basically “impossible” to cut, I invested a few more euros on the laser cut set, which is also shown in the pictures.

Hello

I wanted to share with you with my latest model of Knight of Gold from Five Star Stories by One Piece. When I sow this mecha in manga I felt that I need to have one :). I found templates on some site and started to build it. Unfortunately becasue of my lack of free time it took me almost 2 years to finish it but finally it's done. I hope you will like it.

PM 10th Anny logo Bookmark

I like reading books on my e-reader but sometimes I read an actual printed book. Over the years I have made bookmarks that slip over the corner of a page. I made a bookmark with the PaperModelers 10th Anniversary logo on it.

Here is a picture of the PM 10th Anniversary bookmark:
Attachment 323827

Here is the bookmark on a page:
Attachment 323828 Attachment 323829
You apply glue to the face of one of the triangles and glue it to the back of the opposite triangle to form a pocket that slips over the corner of a page.

Here is the bookmark for printing:

Size should be 79.932 mm x 129.382 mm or 3.147 in x 5.094 in. It works better if you print on some paper that has a tooth to it so the bookmark will grab onto the book page better. I tried printing some on regular office paper and card stock but it had a tendency to fly off of the book page.

I uploaded the graphic at the correct size but the site software seems to want to resize it. Maybe I am missing something.
If I add it as an attachment it changes to a jpg and has all of those artifacts around the lines.

T-90 Russian Tank -1:6 (6.5 Ft. Long) Paper Model of Indian Army - #PaperMajestic1

Last year I created a 1:30 paper model of T90 Tank and got a beautiful video made as a dedication to the sacrifices of Indian Armed Forces. The video was a huge hit and it had something else for me in the store:

Long story short, in Jan 2017, I got a call from someone very senior in the Indian Army to create for them a 1:6 (6.5 feet long) PAPER MODEL of T90 'Bhishma' Tank and install it at one of their brigade's Head Quarters.

Here, I'll post the making pictures of this already completed project that was loved by everyone who saw it and I am sure you'll love it too.

The below video is a documentation of the making of this giant paper model, the video is viral with 230K views on facebook.

Zach's GIRD-X

Has anyone else tried to download Zach's new GIRD-X from his site? I've gotten a 404 error for the last few days.

I didn't see any contact info for Zach on the site, but I believe he visits the group often, so....

Browser add-ons to fix the Photobucket issue

Saw this at Modelcarsmag, and decided to share it here, as it may be useful.

There are plugins for Chrome and Firefox to circumvent the Photobucket restriction.

If you install it, you will be able to see again the pictures that were blocked when Photobucket made its questionable change.

Firefox: http://ift.tt/2xF3rSa

Chrome: http://ift.tt/2w0uxn5

I'm using Firefox, installed the add-on, and now I can see again the images that were previously blocked in all threads in forums and other sites.

Don't know if this will last. But at least is good to read old threads again.

This fix doesn't mess with your account, it doesn't require any login or password.

Only people that install this fix in their browsers will be able to see the blocked images.

:)

New launchers!

I've been hard at work for a few weeks on the final build of my CZ-5 and CZ-6 Models, now I want to show them off. Both will be available after I get instructions done and make a few corrections.

I'll be posting more in a bit. First, I wanted to show the relative scale of the launchers, along with the CZ-2F. There's also A CZ-7 in the works and a few simple North Korean missiles, just because it's timely.
