I thought about starting a little more "down to earth" model on the side of the Polikarpov build and WAK Willy's jeep 1:25 seems a nice. I ordered also the lasercut parts for the wheels with the kit.
As for the edge coloring, the Faber-Castell "PITT artist pen" Walnut brown 177 seems to be quite a good match for most of the edges. On wire parts, 0,5mm, 1mm and 1,5mm thickness are the only ones used.
While reading the beginning instructions and looking at the first parts I started wondering about the + signs in with the part numbers. The instructions themselves don't indicate that the + would mean e.g. to laminate to certain thickness (like in Halinski). I bet someone here has experience in WAK models and could clarify this?
