Several years ago (how time flies ), I threw myself into creating paper models, partly to enjoy the pleasure that I havealways had in designing (it was my first skill), but also going in search of the amazing possibilities of paper modelling.
Working from model to model, I have established a standard for ideas and presentation which works well for me. The scale of 1:66 enables a single-engine aircraft to be reasonably compared along side a multi-engine aircraft.
Like lots of spotters, the STAMPE has always fascinated me. The livery of the proposed F‑BDCQ is quite a symbol for me.
Some forty years ago tempus fugit, between two flying lessons, I took a series of photos when it was in the hangar of the flying club in the grounds of Étampes. I have to say that its design and decoration I really enjoyed. The tastes and the colours
In 2012, I designed it to a scale of 1:32. The model is still available with a free download... Then from the beginning of this year, its in a 1:66 version which I have worked hard on. Since I wanted to offer the STAMPE in several of its versions, I needed to establish a standard design. After making 11 different versions and alteration after alteration of designs, I finally stopped trying to develop my famous blueprint. So, I went back to square one, and these are the designs of the F-BDCQ which are the up-grading that I am suggesting to you.
As usual, all the information to download the designs, as well as the photos showing the assembly, are on my blog, but in French. I am sorry I find it more difficult to express technical terms in English.
Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year, and ... happy flying!
