I wanted to introduce myself for quite some time now but somehow I never got around. So now I’ll simply do it with our new model.
We at HMV love ships, we love the oceans and thus we love all creatures in the oceans. No wonder that we stumbled across Sea Shepherd eventually.
For quite some time now we support this conservation society wherever we can and are now happy to announce a very productive cooperation between HMV and Sea Shepherd.
With the title “Build and support” we’ve made the first cardmodel of a ship of the Sea Shepherd fleet. A big part of the earning of this model will be donated directly to Sea Shepherd to support their campaigns to save the whales, all creatures at sea and the oceans themselves.
This 59.5 cm (23.5 inches) long and completely colored cardmodel of the Steve Irwin in 1/100 scale is perfect even for absolute beginners in paper modeling. The model offers different levels of detail for different modelling skills and even if you decide to build the easy version you can later add many of the additional details.
The book is in Din A4 and has 24 sheets with model parts and comprehensive instructions. The easy version is made of 103 parts and it takes a weekend to build. If you decide to build all available details you’ll have to cut out 767 parts to build for example the speedboats, pollers, capstan, crane, radar and lots of other little things.
A Lasercut Set will be published soon.
Delivery starts on August 21st. The model can be ordered as off today in our own shop and will probably be available in most Sea Shepherd shops soon.
