Desert Messerschmitt "Black 8".
Hello all,
Having sat back for a while contemplating which model to attempt next I settled on my next choice after reading some literature on Werner Schroer. Schroer was I’m sure many of you are aware, a German ace that came to being during the desert war of WWII. His most famous mount being that of Black 8 (Werknummer 3790). I was most pleased to see that Halinski produce a BF109E -7 in his colours.
Having sent off to Halinski, I awaited the arrival of the model. I also purchased laser cut former, a canopy and a wheel set.
