So I was starting to build Paper Replika's offering of Air France Flight 447, the ill-fated Airbus A330-203 lost in June 2009. In looking up photos online of the actual aircraft, F-GZCP, it can be seen it was powered by General Electric CF6 high-bypass turbofans, yet the PR model has Rolls Royce Trent 700s. The engines look very different.
Is there anywhere I can get a CF6 in the same scale and (best-case scenario) markings of the 2009-era Air France A330, or did I just build the fuselage for nothing?
Any insights/guidance is welcome. Thanks.
