Well friends!
After a long delay here my builds of SPAD 13C1 from Murph's Models, is very enjoyable models to build, the original scale is 1/23, and is very detailed with great textures.
The planes represents:
"Red 2" is the Capitaine (Captain) Georges Guynemer's plane (50 kills, missing in action with this airplane in 1917 exactly 100 years ago). The "White 1" is Captain Eddie Rickenbacker's airplane (26 kills, Medal of Honor - survived the war and has a fascinating history, dying in 1973.) And the "Black 26" of 2nd Lieutenant Frank Luke Jr. (18 kills , known as the "Arizona Balloon Buster," as he specialized in the dangerous task of killing captive observation balloons. Frank received the 1st Medal of Honor for an Aviator in 1918, was shot down by antiaircraft fire and died on the ground, wounded , along with his plane trying to repel the fire of the German Infantry with a Colt M1911 pistol, as it landed in no man's land among the trenches on the German side.)
