Just curious, is anyone aware of any models out there of a Subaru Outback?

(Bonus if it's a gen 3, 2005-2009.)

it makes sense to follow up with the Kfir.

Yoav has done a magnificent job on creating the 1/30 scale Kfir C2 and Yaron followed up by modifying the kit and converting it to a C7 version and camouflage scheme . That version includes external load as well as a landing gear set.

It looks like a fun continuation of the Mirage

Hi all,

Our friend, Chima has posted 2 versions of the Toyota Landcruiser.
One in Silver, and one in the scheme of the 2017 Dakar competitor.

Momo Club Paper Craft Low Poly Pikachu

Hi all,

One of the plethora of paper craft designers on Facebook, Momo Dicky, released a low polygon version of Pikachu, and he is releasing similar models all year, with a simple stipulation, build that month's model, before receiving the next model.

In the file you receive, there are multiple files, a pdo, and a pdf, and a couple of images showing the build sequence and beauty shots.
The pdf is a "white model" meaning you print the file on paper of your chosing, i used some bright yellow 12x12 card stock from the scrapbooking section at A.C. Moore, and I used my Epson WF-7610 printer, and then proceeded to score, cut, fold and glue the pieces in a Pikachu shape.

Can't search older posts

I needed to check an old post in the forum. Sadly I could not remember
the title, and generic word-search was fruitless.

Since it wasn't a thread I started, but an answer I made to another
person, I could not look for the "Find all threads started by me".

So I decided to check my old posts. When looking at the "Find all posts
by ···(me)" in my profile, it shows only the more recent 500 posts I made
(out of the more than 2000 I've written), and can't go back any further.
The thread was more than 3 years old, so obviously doesn't show
in the results (my most recent 500 messages are from this year alone).

I tried to do the same in another person's profile, and again it only shows
the 500 more recent posts, not all of them.

Last time I used this function was a couple of months ago and it was
working fine, could reach my very first posts in the forum. But today I
found it is faulty.

The suggestion to the administrators is to check that ;)

Abeille 13

I love tugs and it's been a long time since I wanted to design a boat model.
So I choose this simple tug, the "Abeille 13", build in England in 1943 (more than 180 ships were build) and after the war some of them were sold. This one (originaly named TID 174) arrived at Le Havre harbord in 1948.
It doesn't seem to be very complicated and that is fine because I am not an expert in ship...
I found rough plans, not very precise, on the internet (2 pages of a models revue).
I use Sketchup for the 3D model.

Junkers Ju-52

My last gallery in 2017. You had a chance to choose and Ju-52 has won the poll. So, here it is.
German trimotor transport aircraft, one of the oldest planes used in WWII. This one is air ambulance from Modelcard no. 28, scale 1/33.

Hello from Longview Washington

I just stumbled across this site. I Just recently have become interested in papercraft modeling. I have in the past built mostly from balsa (stick and tissue.) I also enjoy R/C flying when the weather permits. The weather has been so bad, I recently went out and bought something I could fly in the house.. A drone. Amazing how far electronics have come.. I still prefere taking my R/C Cessna 185 out. Best wishes, Joel

World Darts Championship 2018

Just noticed the PDC World Darts Championship is taking place at Alexandra Palace in north London. Been going on since 14 December 2017 and will conclude 1 January 2018. 60-120-180!

Ally Pally (sawr that name in one of the searches about the event) looks like a sprawling building complex. It would make an interesting paper model.

Three Honda Two-Wheelers

In response to overwhelming public demand (i.e. motorcyclemodeler asked me) I shall post a few photographs of my versions of the rather delightful models recently made available on Akira O's web site. These models do not have a high level of detail, but capture quite nicely the feel of mostly rather idiosyncratic Honda machines. The given scale is 1:11, so I have reduced them by about 20% to fit my standard scale of 1:14.

First up is the model Z50A "Monkey". The Monkey was a tiny 50cc motor bike, originally designed for a children's ride at an amusement park. It was modified slightly to make it ridable (just) by adults, and released in 1967 as the Z50M. A new version with slightly more reasonable wheels - 8" (200mm) instead of 5" (125mm) - and a little more power came in 1969: the Z50A.

I made quite a few modifications while building this model, mainly because while redrawing the frame tubing to make it buildable for me I found that the proportions were a little awry. In particular the main spine tube was too long, so the distance between the steering head and the rear frame loops was too great. Fixing this had some knock-on effects, as the fuel tank now had to sit partially over the rear frame member, rather than entirely in front of it, and the seat and engine both had to be reduced in length to fit.

Yamaha YA-1

Yamaha has just released a new jubilee model in paper, the model has the scale 1: 4.
This is far too big for me, so I'm going to reduce the model to 1: 9 and then much more realistic.
Note that the whole model is made out of paper.


The cylinder in rough form to see clearly that the paper is.
Here you can also see that the spark plug is not beautiful.
