While trolling Mauther's blog for trains for my next nursing home display, I saw this. Frankly, I won't build it for the display, but it is a nice blend of simplicity and detail for a slick looking model. And sometimes I find 'simple ideas that work' that bear mentioning. In this case, the roadbed with rails that stick up. Simple idea that looks great.
