My organization has a few Blackberries that we use as loaner devices to employees. As part of policy, the devices are wiped when they are returned. However, we are being forced to come up with a new password for the device after each wipe. We'd like to set them to something standard, so no matter which Service Desk analyst gets the devices back, the wipe will no wipe out the standard password that we would like to assign to each device.
Is there a way to do a security wipe, without forcing a password reset?
