KitKat 4.4

I have messed with KitKat for the past month or so and I must say it's waste of time. There is absolutely nothing that it offers that I don't get on my 4.3 custom Rom. In fact I get much more let me give you an idea, because I have flashed several different KitKat rom's and nothing compares to rooted LiguidSmooth v2.37

I average 2,000 better benchmark scores with LS, battery life is much better, there is no comparison to the battery life I get with LS vs Kitkat it's double in fact. The launcher with Kitkat is average at best and having another launcher is a must for me. In most cases there is little to none customization with KitKat. What is the sense of a custom rom if there is no customization?

I have tried CM11, Gummy, SlimKat, Omni, BeanStalk, and a few others Gummy being the best of the bunch in my opinion. Like Jay I am tired of messing around so unless something just slaps me in the face I have lost interest. If I'm missing something I don't know what.

Right now I'm on cruise control with LiquidSmooth and would highly recommend this rom to anyone sporting a Android. There are builds for many devices.

Just an opinion from an old fart who enjoys messing around

Urgent! Dreadfully need help! Lost Android Text Messages!

Hi all, I have been using Snapchat these days to chat with my friends so seems haven't been Real texting for long time. This morning I got a message from a VIP customer of his schedule to London next week. While I was about to dab on showing the text but what the hell!!! The phone crashed and rebooted automatically, not only my client's SMS but all messages stored on my phone vanished. No problem I can ask my client to send again his plan but what about the rest messages?! My brain stopped working at that exact moment.

I have been searching so hard for a solution to quick regain lost message from Android phone. Yes, forget to tell you that I am using Samsung GT-s5300. After reading and googling for ages, I find that "Myjad Android SMS Recovery" might be the most suitable tool for me at the moment.

So now I need advice! Whoever has utilized this program before is very much welcomed to post a comment coz your opinion would be a HUGE contribution to me. Urgently need reply. Thank you millions in advanced.

Xperia ZR:/

Having been using my ZR for half month but I find that the battery life to be dreadful. I have to reduce brightness to get it through my working day without having to charge at midday. I am considering extended battery and doing research on mpj as I can’t bare the stock battery won't last from when I get up to when I get back to bed. Other than this, ZR is great! The camera is enough for me just want a point-and-shoot camera to snap photos. Good for gaming and Good as it gets as a waterproof phone, love it anyway.
